Days spent in Rotterdam:
- Great team, great participants, great IW spirit!
- visiting Kinderdijk and bicycle tour in the UNESCO heritage mills area
- Madurodam(museum with all main Dutch sights minized 25 times)
- beach at Scheveningen (never knew Holland has such nice beaches! =)
- boat tour in Rotterdam harbour
- Maeslantkering (very interesting, construction protecting the area from floods)
- Great parties at Rivo, at Crazy Pianos(what a cool club concept!), Austrian Hut (probably the best party haha), International dinner in the place we spent 2h looking for etc :D
- Huge thanks to great hosts Dalius and Agne (Lithuanians - hehe Baltics everywhere:) for hosting me and Shimrit(Israel). Had great fun.
- Very interesting time spent with Shimrit in terms of cultural learning.
- Really happy about having got to know all the people and also the second estonian participant Kati. I really love interesting people :)
- Great time living on the boat (haha out of use toilets and picnics under the stars any time you want!)
- Looots of sandwiches (all the meals :D)
- Such nice long walks along the channels! Really beautiful and magic athmosphere!
- All the things Amsterdam is famous for :-)
- Visiting Anne Frank House - very emotional for me at least
- Great academic part of the project - lectures about innovation, visiting incubator for innovative start-up's
- Queens Night Celebration (but unfortunately I did not manage to meet one friend I really wanted to :(
- Queens Day Celebration. Huge crowds, but still very peaceful until the attack of the royal family (see youtube video)...sad
- Great end of a great week!
